Did you know that 1 in 5 Australians will experience mental illness this year alone?

Recent research has found that every second day at least one construction worker will commit suicide, costing the construction industry $1.57 billion per year. More broadly, the cost of mental illness is close to $20 billion, with many of that being cost of lost labour and productivity.

With many of us spending the majority of our time at work, workplaces need to ensure that mental health and well-being of employees is high priority. Workplaces need to cultivate a safe and supportive environment for those who are struggling with mental illness. In some cases, psychological trauma may be from work, such as bullying or witnessing traumatic events. However, some cases be personal and unrelated to work.  No matter where the stimulus originates from, workplaces need to have a program in place to support all employees, not just those with a mental illness but for the workplace as a whole.

Our three mental health programs provide a total population approach to good mental health, resilience and high performance.

1: HEADQUARTERS- pro-actively focuses on lifestyle factors to build resilience and improve mental health

2: HIGH PERFORMANCE PATHWAY- joins the dots between physical and psychological health by educating individuals and provides a targeted plan to improve health and performance in all dimensions.

3: CHEMISTRY FOR SUCCESS- pro-actively influences behaviours using researched based profiling and provides individuals with a health and performance action plan.
